Exploring The Benefits Of Charter Schools

Hi there, I am Marissa Pollizo. I would like to discuss charter schools with you on my website. I recently began researching public, private and charter schools in my area. I was not happy with the education my children were receiving from the public school district. After several meetings with their advisors, I decided it would be better to put them in a different option. Unfortunately, private schools were way too expensive, even if I saved for the entire year. Instead, I chose charter schools and we couldn't be happier. I will discuss the various ways charter schools excel above the other options. I will also explore the teaching ideologies and techniques used in this type of school. Please come by often to learn more about charter schools. Thanks.

Preschool At Home? How To Teach Your Toddler At Home

If you are currently keeping your toddler out of preschool and day care because of COVID-19 or for another reason, you may be wondering what you were thinking. After all, you now need to teach and entertain your toddler yourself, which can seem overwhelming. However, it does not have to be such a daunting task. You can teach your toddler at home successfully and without too much stress or worry. Get to know some of the steps to take to teach your toddler at home rather than sending them to a preschool. Then, you can be sure you are doing everything you can to keep your child happy, healthy, and well-educated at home.

Just Relax

First and foremost, just relax. You do not need to put so much pressure on yourself to be the perfect teacher for your toddler. Toddlers learn a lot just by watching the adults in their lives and interacting with them.

This is how they pick up most of their language skills and even learn proper behaviors and how to do certain tasks like picking up and cleaning. So, just be you and relax. Your toddler will learn from you whether you are explicitly teaching them or not. Do not teach them to be stressed out and worried. Teach them to be calm and relaxed.

Get Activity Books for Toddlers

Now that you have taken some of the pressure off of yourself, you can get to teaching your toddler various age-appropriate skills. This can be done easily with an activity book for toddlers (or several activity books).

Such books will have various items and activities outlined that you can work on with your toddler. For example, learning shapes and colors can be a great way to start teaching your toddler. These activity books will have cut-outs of shapes and colors as well as suggested activities to do with those concepts.

You could have your child, for example, find a red toy in their collection. Or you could have them look for a square. You could hang the cutouts on the wall and have your toddler point to the object or color you call out. All of these are interactive activities that you can get from an activity book for toddlers.

Using an activity book for toddlers as a guide to help you teach your child will help to ensure that they are keeping up with children in daycare or preschool and that they will have the skills and knowledge they need to start kindergarten eventually.
